Bead soup is many things. Fun, colourful, full of surprises, and also a great metaphor for my mental state most days. Especially right now. Last night I was a bit of a mess, and I grabbed a bunch of bead soup to represent my disorder (thoughts, emotions, health, etc). Today, I feel like all the little pieces are starting to come together, just like bead soup collection pieces! Bead soup shows how even the most random assortment of pieces can come together into a beautifully collected work of art. Every single bead has a purpose.
A large collection of bead soup pieces will be available at all times if possible- Beadwork is medicine, and everyone deserves access to it.

I'm finally taking a break from markets and stuff to get my mental stuff together. My last market weekend in september had me realizing that the amount of emotional labour i put into markets and social media presence is extremely draining. So, taking a step back for now. Since the end of my University reading week, I've had a chance to just breathe for a bit. I've also spent time getting my inventory uploaded to my website, doing some sewing projects, settling into my new job within the Laurier Archives, and playing Animal Crossing lol.
I've decided that I'll be stepping back from markets and social presence a bit more. I'll apply to markets that are important to me, but otherwise I think i'll be focusing on me and my schooling. Wela'lin to everyone who has been supporting me with this decision, I really appreciate it
