I had the urge tonight to make some geckos, just like childhood latte art projects, but I ran into a few issues.
All the ones I tried with thread weren't sturdy enough and collapsed. I tried with my bronze wire, but it was too thick for anything but size 6 beads. It also kept breaking, so I ended up with a single weird tadpole rather than a gecko.
My black wire worked for size 8 beads, so I made a bunch of pairs. I'm going to keep working at this until I figure out how to make pairs with size 11 beads, but I think it might take a while. Enjoy these in the meantime!!

Reminder: handmade art- especially beadwork- is delicate, so please be gentle with it! To keep your new piece safe, try to either hang or lay flat when storing. Avoid tugging on beads/strands, getting wet, exposing to chemicals (ie: lotion, makeup, soap) or direct sunlight. Pets may try to damage items made with quills, dentalium, or hide- please keep beadwork safely out of reach of your furry, feathered, or scaled friends!
