These five pairs share a colour scheme, but their materials vary. I wanted to see how many variations I could create of the same idea, and how many different supplies could be integrated into it. 5/6 pairs use the same cabs and leather, all pairs use the same 3 colours of 11/0 toho seed beads, but the designs, patterns, and edging are all different.
The floral pair has a basic seed bead edging, the studs use moonstone and sunstone crystal bicones, the smaller rounds use firepolished beads, the large matte rounds have much larger firepolished facet beads, and the crosshatch pair uses another version of the sunstone crystal bicones. Most of these rounds are simple flat stitch, but the crosshatch and floral pairs were experiments. I'll definitely make more florals, but the crosshatch were WAY too much time and effort- they were kinda like pebble stitch, each individual bead.
My goal for this collection was to challenge myself to use colours I usually avoid, and to be creative! I'm really happy with the results. What do you think?

Reminder: handmade art- especially beadwork- is delicate, so please be gentle with it! To keep your new piece safe, try to either hang or lay flat when storing. Avoid tugging on beads/strands, getting wet, exposing to chemicals (ie: lotion, makeup, soap) or direct sunlight. Pets may try to damage items made with quills, dentalium, or hide- please keep beadwork safely out of reach of your furry, feathered, or scaled friends!
