Made with 11/0 AB Charlotte cuts, commercial leather scrap backing, fire polished faceted edging beads, and stunning peach moonstone teardrops, these BOOjie squash are also made with Golden Birch!
Speaking of impossible, I couldnt find a way to show how GOLD they are??? I gave y'all a shot of them on my arm and on the corner of a white cabinet to hopefully provide a bit of context. The birch is honestly gorgeous and I LOVE it🥰
This project is my second time actually working with the Gold Birch that my dad harvested for me back in Mi'kma'ki last year, and it definitely has some learning curves. For one, it bubbles/peels in a VERY different way! Trying to get consistent layers is a bit rough as a result. That's okay, I make smol things anyways!!

Reminder: handmade art- especially beadwork- is delicate, so please be gentle with it! To keep your new piece safe, try to either hang or lay flat when storing. Avoid tugging on beads/strands, getting wet, exposing to chemicals (ie: lotion, makeup, soap) or direct sunlight. Pets may try to damage items made with quills, dentalium, or hide- please keep beadwork safely out of reach of your furry, feathered, or scaled friends!
