Intersex is a general term used for a variety of situations in which a person is born with reproductive or sexual anatomy that doesn’t fit the boxes of “female” or “male.” This condition gets a lot of stigma and invasive medical interventions, but isn't anything to be ashamed of!

Reminder: handmade art- especially beadwork- is delicate, so please be gentle with it! To keep your new piece safe, try to either hang or lay flat when storing. Avoid tugging on beads/strands, getting wet, exposing to chemicals (ie: lotion, makeup, soap) or direct sunlight. Pets may try to damage items made with quills, dentalium, or hide- please keep beadwork safely out of reach of your furry, feathered, or scaled friends!
